In 2023, Sophie Ellis Bextor's Murder on the Dancefloor saw a huge resurgence from appearing in Emerald Fennel's Saltburn, I was tasked with creating a lyric video to help revitalise the track.
I wanted to create something that referenced Saltburn whilst still allowing the track to have its own identity - I was fortunate enough to shoot a lip sync video with Sophie herself, overlaid with a heavy dark red texture as a nod to 'that scene' from the film. (Pictured below)
